Did Facebook and myspace use Google Ads, Or did they win some sort of award in which caused news within the cyber world??
Was it a case of advertising their banners amongst other sites?? Because the words “Myspace” and “Facebook” Aren’t too popular.
To conclude, I am simply asking how Facebook and myspace advertised their sites thus to promote.

I don’t know about myspace but i know bout facebook. Facebook become popular because of thousands of exciting applications like strategic games, music applications, gifting applications etc. The main reason behind the popularity of facebook is privacy. Facebook is the first social network which provides privacy to it’s users.
Word of mouth, at least that is how I found out about it. Now they have enough money for tv commercials. I don’t think I’ve seen any ad banners on other sites despite their popularity now.
Also, I would assume that before those types social networks, there were message boards that had a social aspect to them. There they may have introduced a new format for that type of network.
Is so simple. This had to become part of our lives. The internet was created with the perpose of communication. B4 myspace there was a lot of forums, webchats and even pages like myspace or facebook. What bring so popular myspace and face what the ability to adapt thru a hole new set of webdesigning aspect and more tools that any one the other websites didn’t have.

And I heard about myspace with forums, people telling me about it Then boom I told my friend and they told someone else and that how they are so popular.
facebook is amazing. people pass on the idea of socializing online. i agree they have some not so good ideas, but if you actuallt have facebook, there are games, chatting, inbox. it takes away the need for email, texting, and games, which all cost money, thus, facebook saves u money! its great!

Lonely and trendy people with not much time to do much else. they can reach out across the miles to say hello or check on friends and family, cheaper and more personally.
